bryan and i went out barhopping tonight. it would have been a really nice night if he would have just stayed off his damn cell phone text messaging his guy friend. Other than that, however, it was a very nice night. we went to a new bar in Plymouth, the Cabby Shack, and had a few drinks before heading to the applebee's bar. There (applesbees) i saw an old friend: Mike Duffy. we talked briefly. it was really nice to see him. he's doing well. he has one semester left at Johnson and wales and he has a 3 month old son. it's nice to see/hear that the friend(s) i had as a child are doing well. he seems very happy. :)
after applebees, we headed to the ming. it was boring, to be honest. i played Keno and lost $10. big shock there. we decided afterwards to head back to the Caddy Shack. I was told by the bouncer to show 2 IDs since i don't have a Mass License. it was highly amusing. i showed him my wagner ID and was let in. the bartender there was wicked cute...seemed to be my type of guy. he appreciated good music (there was a band playing and he and I would both acknowledge the good songs being played. too bad Plymouth is a highly straight town and it seems that only bryan and i are the only gay people here...
Overall, it was a very night night, despite bryan texting his "friend" a lot. we agreed that this has to be a weekly thing. I could not agree more. good times...
