(no subject)
so i was told that i have to take my personal day at work this week or i will lose it. I am pissed off.
After talking with dad about it for about an hour, I am going to talk with my Union Steward tomorrow and see if that is legal by our Union Contract. I don't want to take it this week. I'm working all week and there is no good day to take off to get my personal day. Therefore, I want to just get the money for the day. It's my personal day...i earned it. I want to have that money if I can't take the day off. It's the damn company's fault for not posting that workers had to get their personal days done by the 24th. I put mine in for the week after Christmas, while i am up in boston housesitting. It is still in the year 2004. I should still be entitled to get it and not have to have one of my 2005 personal days taken for that day. It just doesnt make sense.
