(no subject)
Things are back to normal now. No more visits from the Po-Po. :)
Maureen Hague called me tonight (on my cell, and i have NO idea how she got the number) and she offered me a gig singing with her, her daughter and Terry Runnels on Dec. 17 for Pine Hills Country Club. It's 6-8 and i'll get $100!!! SAWEET!!! $100 for two hours work! and it's not even work! Maybe i should rethink this whole "i don't want to do performance" stuff. If i can do that for that kind of money, hell even HALF that, I'd be all set! So, naturally I told her yes. Getting down there might be an issue, but i'll talk with someone about that. so, YAY!
I'm excited about tomorrow. I didn't get my haircut though, nor was I able to go buy clothes (i REALLY need pants!) but i'm not worried about that. I'm checking times now for "Alexander" and to see what restaurants are in the area. Nothing too much. i haven't had chilis in a while...mmmm, nachos...
this weekend is going to be tiring. I have work tomorrow, then going out with John...I'm going straight to work from there on saturday, 1-6 (still have to find a ride home from work then, btw), SNL with Colin Farrell on Sat night (if you know me at all you'd know i'm there), singing for mass on sunday til 11ish, then hopping on a train to play football with everyone, and coming home that night. Gonna be a fun weekend (other than that whole working thing).
