Beardology 101
Well I just got my first haircut in Kansas. It doesn't look too bad either which is great. A little different than how it was done at home, but that's to be expected. It actually compliments the beard I'm currently sporting which incidentally is the exact topic I want to talk about. Over the last week or so, I started growing which I usually do from time to time, but this time I'm keeping it around. I tend to grow it out for maybe two weeks and I'm out. Beards get itchy and at a certain point, I always felt like it made me look old. I also think that having no facial hair reflects who I am. I'm still pretty young at heart and I feel like I look a little nicer and more approachable without one. While I may be more comfortable and prefer being clean shaven, I think for the next couple of weeks, it would be in my best interest to look as old as I can for teaching my class. So I guess the whole point of this short little update is, I just wanted to get it out there that yeah, I have beard for now, but it won't last forever. And I'll probably actually be kind of happy when I feel its safe to get rid of it!
