progress, and complications

Finally sold the dresser that has been listed on CraigsList for a while. Yay, getting rid of stuff! Then I swung by Menards and got the flex conduit, ended up getting the 25' for $10 so I have a bit extra. Also picked up some other random things, screws, hammer, etc.

Then it was home to wire up the rest of the tub and flip the switches. The air blower jets turned on and sent a fine mist into the air (tub is only about 1/3 full of water from leakage). So after turning that off I tried the water pump jets, and nada. The motor got warm, so it was getting power, but no movement. Now I need to see if it is just scale and buildup on the pump head or something in the motor. The fun part is that the motor in question is situated just behind the controller/heater that I just re-installed. which is also hooked into the plumbing system. So I'm going to see if I can get the pump to spin without removing too much, otherwise it all comes out again. I sprayed some lube at it last night and will try and get a wrench at the shaft tonight to see if it can turn. Getting closer though.
