singles cooking class
I had been warned that the singles cooking classes at my favorite cooking school and occasional dinner place (culinarycommunion.com) weren't spectacular events.
But when given the chance to go at less than half price because there was a 2-1 ratio of women to men an hour before the event - it seemed like it would be worth trying.
To give it credit, we did make some good food and I now have yummy leftovers to go with the lamb in my fridge.
For cooking there were a few too many people and as a singles event (granted I have next to no experience with singles events) it seemed like there could be more meeting of people. I may just not be all that good at these events - it probably didn't help that I came late.
And of course the most interesting person there wasn't a guest - but that was part of one of my two warnings.
