I think that would be Orphaned Series either Subverted, Averted, or Defied.

I feel better about calling it "Orphaned Series: Defied" than the mark of shame that is "Schedule Slip", currently featured there. :)

Heh, I didn't mean you had to change it. "Schedule Slip" is just as honest, although maybe "schedule slip" carries the patina of eventual failure? I'm not sure of some of the nuances here.
