weekend update...
when i woke up on tuesday with half of my right arm numb, i thought it had just fallen asleep.
when it didn't go away all day i thought i had maybe pinched a nerve... those go away in like a day, right?
well, the next day it was still numb... so i started to get worried.
i made a doctors appointment for the university health center, and the doctor i saw said it was probably something having to do with the car accident i had a couple weeks ago and told me to take ibuprofen to help with the swelling, but she didn't really have any evidence to back up her diagnosis (and im pretty sure all the doctors there are sham doctors anyway...) and it's still numb so im going to make an appointment with a neurologist asap- to make sure i didn't have a stroke.
so my week started out pretty sucky... i was really worried that i had had a stroke. but then it got a lot better(!) on thursday when i realized (when choosing classes to take next semester) that im going to be able to graduate in may 06!! i'm soo excited to be done with undergrad... not to leave berkeley, which ive come to love, but just to be going on to med school is so exciting! ahh i cant wait. i may end up taking a year off though and apply to med schools the year after i graduate, because the application process is huge (mcat-prep, mcat, personal statements, applications, interviews... its exhuasting to type about...) ...but yeah, only 1 year left!
i didn't do my taxes... but i think i got an extension... so its ok
and is it me, or did this year seem to go by a lot faster than either year at tams (particularly senior year)? ... but then again graduation seems like eons ago. bahh
