This journal has been put off for a while, so I suppose I could update it and rant on about some things for the sake of looking back on this and laughing at myself and how much my life has changed.

I am in the middle of the semester right now and assignments are piling up. I actually thought this semester would be my easiest yet, but it turns out that it is more difficult than expected for reasons unknown. Speech is a completely different type of class. Unlike English or other humanities, where I could just whip up an essay and only suffer the professor's criticism, in Speech I have to actually thoroughly prepare myself and put a lot of practice and effort forth so that when the time comes to give it, I don't make a complete fool of myself in front of 40 people. Other than that, classes are pretty cool. I am just being very lazy this semester.

With school aside, life is treating me to many beautiful things. Everyone is getting more busy with all of the things that are taking up their life as time rushes forward, and I suppose this should be expected as we grow older. Things that were important a year ago are no longer considered, and subjects of interest are changing rapidly. I can see an overt change in a lot of us and a significant departure to the self and what we will become as an individual. All of us are trying to figure out what will become of us and realizing what is most important to make these ideas reality. I can't wait to see where we all are in ten years. Surely, it will be quite interesting.

I am now on the Worship team with Jamie, Levi, and Devin. Good things will grow out of that. I can already see the effects it will have on us as a team and the church as a whole.

I thank the Lord for the blessings with which he has so graciously poured out upon me and my close ones.

Until next time,

Jeff
