My summer so far has been pretty relaxing. Living in Detroit for the summer, the bums are in full form, and there were cops chasing robbers on foot through the ally under my window the other day. I love it here.
I've been moderately busy. After the season closed (and I became a 2nd year grad student!), Sean, Corpy, Jackie, and I went on a road trip to NYC real quick to move Jackie for an internship. It was awesome, except being pulled over at 3 am in the Poconos... that was lame.
I start rehearsing for the Village tomorrow, which will be cool. Its basically whoring myself, but most theatre work is feeble (sorry P. Bird). I'm excited for the ultra pay to save for my trip to Russia!
In the meantime, I've been heading back for year 4 (or 5) at the good ol' Window Doctor. I love it. What's not to love?
So this summer is shaping up to be alright. I want to make it up north to see camp people, and other than that, I'll be hanging out in Detroit. I have nights off, so call me if you want to hang out.
