So, i'm finally starting to get shit done.
I registered for a Intro To Watercolor class for Summer session B.
After over a month ago of saying I was gonna get promoted to head host, it's finally happening. Even though it's just some stupid promotion at a part time job, it's kind of cool.
I started to make schedules, and so now I know how that entire process works. This morning I lead a meeting, and I dunno, I just feel a lot more responsible. I also got my own mailbox in the office, which isn't a huge deal, but it's cool that i'm the only employee with their own mailbox aside from the managers.
I feel like I'm learning so much.
We're hiring a butt-load of new people, which basically means i'm going to be making copies of training material and training like a lunatic (because as Head Host I have to train all the new employees).
Not only is the whole Head Host thing working out nicely, but I also took 6 out of the 8 quizzes needed to become a server. All I need to do is learn the alcohalic drinks (Which is a lot to learn... I need to know all the bottle beers, draft beers, white wines, red wines, what's in the mixed drinks, etc...) but once I take those tests, I can start really training on how to serve tables.
So, not only is this all teaching me how to be more responsible, but im going to be making some good money.
