Played timpani with the Livingston Symphony Orchestra last night. It was pretty cool. I think I made some pretty decent contacts, so thats cool. It looks like I'm playing at Carnegie Hall again in February.
http://www.carnegiehall.org/article/box_office/events/evt_9678.html?selecteddate=02282008 I get to play all of the 3rd percussion parts. Small pay, but an epic venue.
I did a lot of Christmas shopping for the family amongst the snowfall last Thursday. I even bought a winter jacket for some "adopt-a-kid" at the Starbuck's up the road. Its sweet and I'd like to think that it will keep him warm.
Now I'm just finishing up some work on my Conducting final for tomorrow. Then I'm studying for Physics for several hours. This is followed by some good ol' practicing for an hour or two. Finally, my night will be capped off by the traditional Adult Swim party at my apartment. Which is essentially just people chilling at my apartment, eating burritos, drinking some burrs, and watching Xavier.
I'm coming back to PA either late Saturday night or mid-day Sunday.
