A New Post, A New Week, And Well Just Bassicaly Lots Of New Stuff
Sorry thatI havn't posted in a while. But then again, nobody reads this, so who am I apologising to? It was a good weekend. Friday night Amanda and Stacie left for the weekend and we had mens night that night which was pretty fun. My friend Zach grilled some deer that he had killed the week before. Dr. Oric talked to us about not not getting to involved in ministry because preparing for mimistry is ministry and it is too easy to get bogged down when you are trying to do to many things. I concur. Saturday is a blur. I don't remember exactly what happened, I know that I woke up pretty late and I probably did some homework. I remember that night, I hung out with Jimmy and the gang on the stairs leading onto the J-bowl in front of Mullins. We sang Hymns and shared scripture verses. There was some sort of tention there with my friend Heather. I told everyone that Silence is an importent and often neglected spiritual discipline and that we could sit there and sing kumbaya all night, but that it would be good for us to get away into the silence and let God speak to us directly. I am sure that I did the right thing. Sunday Morning was awsome! I mean I got up early and went to the Episcopal churh on Frankfurt. They have a service at 8:00. That was such an encouraging service. then I went to my church, Clifton which is also on Frankfurt, and since I was about forty minuites early I just got to sit by on a bench and spend time listening to God and reding the Bible. after I got done reading, people began showing up to church. It was an awsome service. This church is such a relief for me. I am glad to be there. Overall, yesterday was just restfull and I hope to model the rest of the week after it. Today I woke up later than I had planned, but I immediately started on homework that is due tomarow. tonight we have man-toman- with Mohler. He is the president of the seminary and a really amazinfg guy. we are going to ask him questions and he is going to answerr them, I can't wait. Well I need to get back to my work. bye. Solus Christus.
