New Computer!

So I think it's time I treated myself to something big and nice, like a new computer! I saw how much money I made last year and realized that I'm pretty much pissing my money away on stupid little things that dont really serve any use to me i.e. dvd's, anything at Best Buy, etc. First off, I definitely want a laptop. It's small, compact, and I can take it with me. Big plus there. I want an apple, mainly because I use one at work all the time, and in the short time I've used this one (since the beginning of last semester) I've had a better experience than all my life on a PC. For instance, right now I'm running Aim, Safari, I'm importing a movie through a camera, I'm burning a cd and I have like 3 or 4 other windows up and nothing is running slow. I'm a big fan of the operating system. It's more practical and easier to use than windows. I guess you could relate it to learning another language. Of course you're going to be relating every part of speech to English, but eventually you'll know how to speak both seperately. Same thing with Macs. I like them.

I'm probably either going to get a 12in or 14in iBook - http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/6064002/wo/pdkf18KL2OKb33Ygjxq1lIrFjCv/0.PSLID?mco=A5D4A98E&nclm=iBook

or if I feel like getting something better....

I could get the 12in Powerbook - http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/6224003/wo/OA5Tm83llUcL2sTB6MR1ojXUTqJ/0.PSLID?mco=9CAC372&nclm=PowerBook

The 17in is just too expensive and too big for what I want.

BUT FIRST!

I need to raise about $1200 before I decide which one I want. I also heard they're coming out with better computers or something. I dunno. So I may just wait til the summer or something. But definitely by next fall I will switch completely to being a mac user! Yay! Better computers! Woot!

Also! I talked to my mom and she said that every $100 that I raise, she'll pitch in an extra $50!!! So all I need is about $1200, then I'll have $1800 to buy a computer. Which is pretty sweet.

So far I have $200 saved from last week's paycheck and this week's paycheck. So from now on, I'm going to stop spending money. That's pretty much the best way to earn money. So, if I'm with you and you see me purchasing something stupid that I really don't need, YELL AT ME!

Thank you,

Jeff!
