I'm just going to add some fuel to this biblical fire that seems to be going on between some friends of mine.
I find it very interesting that the company that does genetic bloodline research (with a sample of someone's DNA) has found that in almost every case - the person's bloodline originates from the Middle East. If it wasn't in the Middle East, it was in Northern Africa. I'm sorry that I said all this without citing a source but I can't find their website. I'm going to have to ask my (evolutionary) cultural anthropology teacher what it is... but he was the one that told me about it and hes a hardcore advocate of evolution.
Back on subject though - will anyone please tell me where the garden of Eden was?
Genesis 2
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin [f] and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. [g] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
Alrighty then... so the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers meet at where? Iraq. Iraq is in the Middle East. Hmm.
Food for thought.
