Things are going ok right now. During those weeks I went without air conditioning, I managed to hurt my right hand from using the computer. Anyway, my hand was hurting bad, so I started wearing a brace to keep my wrist steady. That seemed to help, and today I have tried doing things without the brace to see if my hand still hurts. It does seem to be getting better, but I'm still going to go easy with it and not use it any more than I have to.

I guess one good thing about not being able to use the computer is that I finally started getting out of the house and doing things. I went to Eastgate park a while back, and it seems like a nice place to go occasionally. It's kind of far from my house though, so I doubt I will be going there very much.

Westgate park on the other hand is right down the road. This afternoon I went over there and walked the 3.5 mile track around the park. It's scenic at least, and it isn't too hard of a walk. There are so many different paths you can take I was never sure if I was on the main one or not. I did get lost once, and ended up backtracking about 10 minutes. But now I know where to go. Maybe someday I will try some of the other paths to see where they go. I think I am going to start going to that track more often now that I know what it is like. Walking up and down the street is pretty boring, at least on the trail I can see snakes and stuff. Too bad my feet hurt now :(

QOTD#1:
If you find yourself being chased by a dog while walking, jogging or bicycling, stop, turn toward dog, point, and firmly say "No!" or "Go home!". Repeat as needed.
This is effective even for dogs that do not speak English
