(no subject)
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. Not much has been happening around here. Today I bought a new hard drive for my computer and installed Ubuntu 6.06. I've been running Ubuntu on my other computer for a while now, so there weren't any big surprises getting it on my main computer. It's nice to finally have some up-to-date software on my main machine. Before Ubuntu I was running Debian Sarge, which is pretty old compared to Ubuntu. But anyway, things are mostly back up and running the way I want them to. The only real snag was when I had a bad cd the first time I tried to install it. The installation got about halfway through, then just froze up. So I rebooted and checked the cd for errors, and sure enough it was corrupt. So two hours later, I finally had a good cd to install with (don't ask.... ). But yay, now I'm up to date and have all the latest and greatest.
Maybe I'll start updating more often like I used to, but don't count on it.
