I brought Zane to the doctor today. He has this large welt on his back that he was afraid might be staph. The doc seemed to think it was an ingrown hair. What sucks most about this whole thing is that Zane's insurance doesn't kick in for one more month.
All the roommate and I have been sick for about a week. I've pretty much gotten over it other than the congestion.
Zane convinced me to get an LCD TV, something I've been wanting for a while. We found a nicely priced Toshiba, and bought it with his 0%-for-one-year finance credit card, and I'm going to pay him back when my tax returns come in. Luckily for me, about a week later Calzone called on me to help them with some website stuff. Julie overpaid me to the point of speechlessness, which helped a lot for the TV.
I have been interning at the LITE Center here in Lafayette for about a month. I really like the place. My job is to make 3D models for two of their VR projects. I'm not sure how secret these things are, so I'll just leave it at that! I'm learning lots of techy stuff about VR, and it's all fairly intimidating and exciting.
My cousin Rhonda got engaged and is getting married in August. Geez! EVERYONE is getting hitched it seems. This is so weird. I haven't even met the guy yet!
The roommates and I started playing Lord of the Rings Online, which is pretty fun. It feels like one of the best put together MMORPG's I've ever played. I think that has a lot to do with relying on all the pre-made lore from Tolkein.
