This week’s episode of Project Moonbase takes its title from a track on the long-awaited third collection of library music put together by Luke Vibert, newly issued by Lo Recordings. We have two cuts from this compilation on the show, the rest of which is made up of more new releases and reissues to arrive here at the Moonbase in the past few weeks. This includes two selections from the latest vinyl release on Disposable Music (the library subscription series from the Finders Keepers label), an example of the music used as part of the training regime by East German athletes in the 70s (allegedly) and two tracks submitted by our highly talented listeners.
MC Zirconium brings us unnecessary news from Iceland (the country, not the frozen food store), including the full story of how scientists inadvertently killed what turned out to be the world's oldest living creature.
