recent happenings
So.. After a year at Rcom I finally got into BIFM(build it for me) which is where we build shitty template based websites for our customers who want to pay us to do it. It's still not web development at all in my book as 1) we are using a tempalte based program, 2)the most advanced HTML we're allowed to use is tables and font tags, 3) the only custom graphics were alowed to make consists of adding strokes and drop shadows, so needless to say, i've been there a week and the novelty has worn off, owell, beats speaking too customers who dont have a clue and want us to tell them how to build websits in 15 minute phone calls..
Because of the new job it pretty much screws up me and vanessas schedules, but we'll manage, the best part is i work 9-6 and get weekends off, as opposed to working 12:00AM to 11:00AM friday to monday.. Soon were also going to be offering Premium BIFM which will allow me to use my actual development skills to do web development. Also, i have to go to search engine optimization training (which i am already skilled in)so that should be easy and we get free lunches for doing it.So i'm already beeing placed above some of the people in the department and i've only been there a week so thats good, hopefully my skills and actual knowledge will actually help me out in the department.
I need to get out and do something sometime..
Yup so not much else to update on, i went for a walk tonight with frankie
