OK. We need better towels. Towels made of cotton have really not changed for approximately 80000 years. This is the same time that bathing was invented I believe. OK my mother did manage to buy polyester towels in the 60's or 70's but this was no technology breakthrough, sure they did not really mold but they did not remove water either.

What is needed is a thin, mildew resistant, water absorbent, fast drying material.
