So I posted a while back about towels. I have spent a while looking and studying towels now. It seems that there is a new hombre coming to town. Or perhaps sensei would be more appropriate. There are cotton/bamboo blended towels and they are great. They are so much softer and absorbent yet they dry easier. Not real sure yet how well they hold up yet. If I can ever find white ones I will be very happy. Maybe I'll break down and get the green.

Also, I've been looking for a washer and recently learned that the front loaders are not all that good for anywhere but ground floors because they shake so. It's gotten better over the years but geesh they seem to not last near as long as the toploaders. I want to be environmentally aware and all but how could it be better to replace a metal $800 appliance evry 5 years instead of a $400 metal appliance every 15? Could that $2000 extra help the environment some other way? I think living simply is usually the best environmental solution.
I'll possibly find a used washer somewhere or get the low end whirlpool at HD. I hate to pay for delivery. I noticed that buying online the shipping is about the same as delivery from the store. How can they ship it from kansas for the same price as driving it 5 miles from the store?

Well, what a boring post. If anyone has read this far let me know and I'll owe you a candy bar or something.
