Journaling1

You and I both know I'm going to triumph over this 30 day trial. Let me tell you about my experience with this challenge.

I've been journaling for over a week now for every day for 20 uninterrupted minutes. So far I've kept my goal pretty much to the T. A couple times I got slightly distracted and journaled extra to make up. A few times I wrote for 40+ minutes. Some journals would flow out of me very easily and sometimes it was like pulling teeth. Usually when I was tired and wrote late at night it was harder to write.

The main themes that kept popping up, I found, were; health, wealth, and relationships. Next to my computer are three sheets of paper where I detail where I would like to be in my life in each of these three areas. Every night I would discuss the day's experiences with each of these areas and pull them apart.

I've written 8 entries in my journal now, and I'm already starting to see the benefits, maybe you've seen some changes in me already. By writing down my thoughts and feelings, I'm clearing my mind out of mental gunk. I want to be able to think clearly. I've already taken action to massively simplify my life by removing everything I didn't use often enough. I don't have any clutter anywhere in anything I own. I've also taken steps to prevent over-stimulation. I'm clearing things from my schedule that don't matter to me much. I'm clearing out a huge space in my reality, I had better fill it with things that I enjoy.

This 30 day trial is cruising by. I am excited to implement other lifestyle changes through these 30 day trials. I'm thinking I'll do a meditation trial next and share with you the challenges I face and the rewards I earn. Thank you to everyone who has been asking me if I journaled yesterday, you're the reason I'm keeping on task! Next month's trial will yield $30 for a missed day.
