I made it
I finally made it out here and got the internet going. First things first, I miss everyone and everything about California. I'm real depressed because I miss being home, 90% of the students can go home for the weekend and it bothers me that I can't. I wish I was home. I keep telling myself that I'm only paid up for the semester so come DEC. 16 I can go home and stay there and just sign up at DVC. If things don't feel any better by the time that happens I will most definetly do that.
On the plus-side, I really like the campus, everyone is real cool, even my roomate. The faculty and staff are real nice and I started most of my classes today and it looks like I'll enjoy them.
On the down-side the food is for the most part TERRIBLE!! I mean it, it's nasty. And of course, this is just way too far away from home. I wanna see you all again and I want to sleep in my own house. I'm only gonna admit this to you all because you're my good friends, but I'm real scared and lonely.
Sorry for dumping on you guys like this but thats just what I've been waiting to write.
P.S.- They gave us cows!! In your face Nick!!
