Day #1: Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Well, I decided that I might actually make the attempt to chronicle this trip, if not for others than for myself for posterities (That can't possibly be spelled right, but oh well) sake.
Woke up at around 8:45, packed, took a shower, helped Dad load the car, and off we were. We went to school to pick up Mom and Mike, which took a few minutes. Then, it was go-time. We left really around 10:40, and drove til about 9:40, so it was long day of driving. However, because we went further than usual, tomorrow won't have to be as long. Besides, the second day is always the fun one, because it gets warmer and warmer. And of course, the second day is when we actually arrive.
Took an hour nap sometime around 2, but that was it for me. I know Mike slept a few times, because he's a puss. Made a few stops for food and the like. In general, a usual road trip. Except for the glorious lack of snow, always a good thing.
Tomorrow is through the mountains, 8 hours of Georgia, and then sweet sweet Florida itself. Huzzah!
