The met service kind of missed the point the other day. I was checking the on-line forecast for the day, as is my habit, and was told it was going to be a lovely fine day - only outside we had thunderstorms and hail stones the size of marbles. A couple of hours later I checked the site again and was told we were going to get thunderstorms, instead it was perfectly fine.
If I am not mistaken the met service is supposed to tell us what the weather is going to be, rather than what it was! I suppose the latter approach has its advantages though - you are guaranteed 100% accuracy.
By the way if you are wondering where some of my previous posts have gone I have deleted a few work related ones in light of Dennis'
dennishaskins horrible experience.
I should be more circumspect about commenting about work related stuff online...information management professionals are everywhere and we spend a lot of time on the internet!
Sorry,I am probably paranoid. It's what makes me so special, eventually people find it endearing...or so I am told, who knows what they are really thinking....:)
