Damn,
I hate Monday's. At least from a customer service standpoint. I suppose it is the best day for people to moan and groan about how they can't put anything together, or they have parts that are missing. After all, they have been shopping all weekend long. GRRR!
So, suffice it to say, I have not had the best of days at work. I would also like to add that dealing with insurance companies sucks ass. Insurance is the biggest scam ever invented. I already settled to pay $147.00 a month for my car insurance because I need full coverage on my lease, and I live in Minneapolis. I suppose it makes sense seeing as Bader's car just got stolen last week from our street. Then again, his car doors didn't lock, so I'm thinking my car won't get stolen as easily.
My next problem (this is more of a rant, not a journal entry.) is health insurance. My company will not pick up the tab until September 1st. I have two options it seems like. A)No health insurance. B) Cobra health insurance. Cobra wants about $550 a month from me, so safe to say that option A would be significantly cheaper in short term. My next option I guess is to start calling companies to see what kind of rates they offer for someone like me.
I'm this close (picture thumbs 1/8" apart) to saying FUCK it and move somewhere like Sweden. True, you pay like 50-60% of taxes. But EVERYTHING is taken care of for you. No insurance, no tuition for higher education. Its perfect! Sure, Peter Foresberg (I might have misspelled his name, but I don't care) is from there...But I could probably live with that.
I'm just really sick of everything being such a hassle these days. You can never talk to a human voice anymore...you have to press 3, then 2, 4, and then listen carefully to the menu options since they have recently changed...blah blah blah blah...My company is not like that, instead we have this great system where you can call in and talk to me. This is fine because they give me money to do it, but the only reason people call in, is because something is wrong, or they can't figure it out themselves.
I asked some guy last week what the model # of his TV was, and he started out with, "yeah, I have the 3785...er...wait...that is your address..." I think that is pretty much self explanatory. What ever happened to Darwinism? Doesn't that still hold true in our society? Or has technology made it possible for the slow, week, and dumb people to survive this long? Seems to me that this guy should have been hit by a bus or something a long time ago.
Well, that is all for now...this may actually be my longest entry......
