Cannons,old men, and a hay ride.
What a Strange Place I live In.
Today is a big day for all the
old people in my town.
Its Janney Furnace Day.
The day where kids and grandfathers
dress up like its the Civil War, pick
sides and battle.
only in Alabama.
The thing that i really hate about it,
is cause i live rather close by...
so, when they start shooting those
REAL cannons they make my house shake,
the dogs bark and usually scares the
crap out of my mom.
Oh and its hard to go anywhere cause they crowd
the street with cars, just so they can
get to this field and "make believe"
I guess its kinda cute..in a way?
Yesterday my whole senior class met
at the boy named Lance's house at
7:00 in the morning to have a
hay ride to school.
hahah
Keep in mind im the farthest thing
from a hick, but the thought of it
was funny to me.
I live around odd people.
