172: Nationals have begun

So I'll admit I haven't been studying much this long weekend, I've only done bits of lit and math here and there. But who can study when season is here and when season lasts for about two weeks and when my event is only a day?!?! I promise to hardcore study once wednesday 7 April is over and cheer the rest of my team on. I've got to pick up my kenasai CT1 grades. For now, I've been sleeping, eating and training. I've put in so much for track this year (and last year), I really hope and pray it pays off. Track is seriously almost my life, high jump definately, but also my team. It's really nice to see the j1 hanging out with each other and annoying the seniors, mann they're more bonded than us! And it's good that the j2s are choinging and training hard. It's scary to think that all this will be over by 14 April, we'll hopefully be double champs, more importantly hopefully we would have became better athletes. Better athletes in the sense that we would have set new personal bests, we would have shown sportsmanship and infinite support for our team mates. Basically I hope that during season (and throughout this hectic year) we'll push human limits - body, mind and soul wise. I love track and I promise that I'll do my best next wednesday during high jump finals for God, for Raffles, for my team, my family/friends and for myself. This is my last nationals and I'm going to make it count. Personal best ftw. I hope that I've been and am a good captain, though sometimes I wish I knew everyone in my massive team better. I know the the successive captains-to-be (whoever they may be) will do a great job and continue to bring Raffles Track and Field to greater heights. Let's go Raffles, let's go!
