Sweet. After waiting over a week to get my magic employee ID and then get access to all (well, most) of the servers, I'm finally able to dig down into the code and get my hands dirty cleaning it all up. The first step, of course, is to simply validate, sanitize, and normalize the HTML and CSS, which means lots of painstaking work with a text editor massaging the DOM. Normally I find this tedious to the point of tears, but I'm quite enjoying it. Might have something to do with the fact that I resurrected an old copy of my music jukebox and have had tunes to zone out to. Word.
