So really, I think I've been jerked around more than enough in the space of five years. There's only so much a femslash fan can take before they throw in the towel.

I should have really thought about the other shoe dropping after the utter awesomeness that was the majority of season 5 for Brooke/Peyton goodies. But I thought hey, maybe Mark finally decided to stop fucking with the Breyton relationship and realized it doesn't matter which of them is with Lucas. I think I was wrong.

Brooke is definetly headed into a dark hallway for the first half of the season. While Peyton worries for her friendship with Brooke, as it slowly starts to fade because of Lucas' latest proposal. Carrie isn't the only psycho that's returning.
So is the Breyton friendship fading? Is that how I should be reading that? Or is her worry fading because all she can think about is the dumbass? Either option does not sound good to me. Not in the slightest.
I've actually seen from a couple different sources about Brooke's turn down the dark alley this season. There are spoilers that Clothes Over Bros gets robbed in one of the first two episodes. And that line about a psycho returning has me wondering if Psycho Derek is back, to take revenge on Brooke helping Peyton to double team him. If I had to venture a guess, I'm thinking Brooke might be raped, and closes off from everyone, including Peyton. And while that has the potential to be a powerhouse story, not just for Sophia, but for the Breyton potential for comfort, I don't trust Mark to do any of it justice. Not even a little. And does Lucas have to be involved in EVERYTHING? God I hate that character. Like more than just about any character on tv.
