Mandatory overtime sucks monkey balls. Really hairy and gross monkey balls. I'm working six days a week as it is. And now I see the double shifts on the horizon. And the kicker? They don't want to hire anyone until the end of the year so they can come in under budget. Because the keep buying up fucking land, and starting new construction projects. And all of us little peons are stuck busting our ass just so the can keep their nice name and reputation for quality care intact. It's bullshit. If this keeps up, I can see at least half of my department just walking out one of these days, it's THAT bad.
