What up?
Friday I should know where my clinical is going to be...crossing my fingers for either BG or somewhere near Naperville, since my second family is allowing me to stay with them. Haha. Hoping to not be in Peoria. Or worse...somewhere I don't have housing. I would hope he (the professor in charge of clinical placements) wouldn't place us somewhere we didn't have housing seeing as he did not give us adequate time to find housing (clinicals start in about a month). If I'm in Naperville, I will probably go to Hollywood Blvd a lot. I love that movie theatre. :)
So after a lot of summerfest planning, I am not going to summerfest. Why, you ask? Well, A of all, no one knows who Paolo Nutini is. B of all, I'm gonna go to Susie's house party the weekend before, so I wouldn't really want to drive home 2 weekends in a row anyways, seeing as gas prices are outrageous, and driving long distances by yourself is no fun.
This summer, I am taking a class on the Spine. Its interesting...I better start studying more on a regular basis though before everything piles up on me. Also, maybe I will discover the problem and a solution to my back pain. Before, I just kinda figured I had weak musculature, but today I tested positive for a couple things, so maybe there is another cause? Who knows.
Last night, watched the Million Dollar Password. Mainly because I'm a big NPH fan. That show is so stressful. I feel that is not a good environment for someone who had heart surgery. Haha. Though I guess Regis isn't really the one under the extreme pressure.
Hmmm...what else. Just cleaned my apartment...smells strongly of cleaning product and is giving me a slight headache, but it needed to be done.
O yeah! So the last day of my 6 day summer break, I decided to go Wii hunting. I saw that on the circuit city website, there were some available at one of their stores. So off I went, knowing it was a long shot. And they didn't have any..so then i'm like "what the hell...i'm already out, best buy is like, 1 minute away. i'll go to bestbuy. I go to the back of the store and they have a gazillion there (had just got a shipment in either that morning or the night before. So i call my rents and they come down wala! B-day presents for me and josh! haha. I got a Wii Fit a couple weeks ago, too. I like it :). I think the funniest part was when I showed my brother. He must have just woken up, and I run upstairs and was waving him to come downstairs. And he made a comment like "this better be good..." or something along those lines. And he gets downstairs and i stand near the wii box and give it a pat and he's like "IT IS GOOD!" And then i tell him "it gets better.....this one is mine." And then he discovered that he got one too. Fun times. Josh and I are bad to play against each other, tho....just because we both are pretty competitive and don't like losing. Last weekend I went home (since erica and adam were in town), and Josh and I played for about 3 hours because neither of us wanted to lose the last game...so it was always like "ok...one more!" Haha. I think he ended up winning the last game, but whatever...i'll get him next time.
In other news, I am starting a salsa dancing class on Wednesday.
In other other news, buffalo wild wings has this thing that if you eat 12 blazin wings in 6 minutes, you get your name on a plaque. Goal: accomplish this by the time I graduate. Chances of my accomplishing this goal: 1/2370293852835028350235.
