So exams are done. Thank god, I couldn't stand the boredom while avoiding hitting the books (school-related books anyway. I had no trouble polishing off a few Star Wars novels). I think they went well. I don't want to say anything yet though. Now all I have to do is get to the sleeping habits of a regular human being. For the past few days, I haven't been able to sleep at night, and have spent the day napping as a result.
Now I am home. Apparently my room has become a stashing area for Christmas presents and random stuff that my family can't figure out where to put.
I think I had a point with this post, but I don't remember it. Maybe I'll just post what I wrote on CClog about my run today.
Long one back in Markham. OK, so I like the fact that here, the sidewalks are practically bare. I hate the fact that there are so many drivers who don't fracking pay attention, resulting in me nearly getting killed several times. Fortunately, I have learned that these cars are usually easily identified by their lack of mufflers and from the god-awful music blaring through their open windows. In the middle of winter. Yes, I know... It was a good run though.
Did I just write "fracking?" Wow, I'd better chance that, or the whole team will think I'm a geek. Wait, I think that would be an exercise in futility. But anyway, I hate drivers in this town. The run was good though. One hour, forty minutes, eleven and a half miles. It was fun.
Now back to my rambling essay about dear Snivellus. 4,468 words and counting...
