Phil and Danelle (friends) camped out overnight for a Wii on Saturday and got one, so I had a chance to play it on Sunday.
The Wii Sports pack-in game is actually pretty fun, what with the boxing, tennis, and all. I don't think the whole motion-sensing thing is gimmicky anymore - it really does kinda open up new gameplay possibilies that previously were only available in arcades. The thing is though, the graphics are pretty disappointing thus far. I realize it's not the focus of the system, but I don't see myself paying even $250 on a new system if the graphics basically look straight out of 4-5 years ago. Then again...the XBox 360 release titles looked like ass too. Actually I don't think any of the 'next-gen' games I've seen so far look all that impressive really, vs. 'current-gen', except for maybe a few...
