n3rd day!
Spent a day with t3h n3rd cr3w today. We had lunch and went to the grocery store to buy stuff for the night's bbq, and then we went shooting. Since we didn't have a person over 21 with us, we were barred from firing the handguns and had to use the rifles. Kinda counter-intuitive, dontcha think? Anyways, it turned out to be really good; we fired a M1 Carbine, a Mosin-Nagant rifle (both of these are World War II era weapons, btw), and a Ruger scoped bolt-action rifle. Out of the three, I'd have to say I liked the M1 Carbine the most...although the Mosin-Nagant had one hell of a kick haha. After shooting, we went back to Victor's and had the usual bbq. I was in charge of grilling again, and the food turned out to be perfect! Quite a way to end a really good day =].
On a not so good note, however, grades came out yesterday, and suffice to say, I got owned really hard this semester. Let's just say that I barely passed my math course, and my cumulative GPA dropped .41 points lol. *sigh*...lots of catchin up to do, but at least pledging won't get in the way of studying again.
