I'm really proud of myself for having the courage of making a multi-chaptered fanfic. Though I'm new to this, I'll work hard to reach everyone's expectations! Criticisms are welcome but good comments are much more appreciated. (I need to boost my confidence you know?)

Tik-tok-tik-tok. The clock strikes at 7:00. I can’t imagine how a single day could entirely change my outlook. Now that my wedding is less than two months to go, everything is in their rightful place, except one - me. Unexpectedly, I realized that my heart is still unstable. It’s still wandering, wandering with full hopes of finding its proper place. The man whom I shall marry is on his way to our house. I would like to introduce him to someone, someone who’s responsible for all these confusions. Perhaps if they both know each other, my heart wouldn’t be mystified any longer.
Ding-dong, Kazuya is finally here.
“My dear, why did you ask me to come all of a sudden? Is everything all right?”
“Yeah, everything’s fine. I just wanted to give this to you.”
“And also…”
“How did you know I wanted this? Thank you Saori, you really are the best! I love you! Oh, sorry, you were saying something, please continue.”
"Uhhh." I guess I don't have enough courage to say it.
His smile, his words, his movements, all of those hit me without warning. It felt as if I was struck by a powerful lightning that made my body numb all of a sudden. Ding-dong, the doorbell rang once again. I stood there, frozen like ice, not being able to move.
“Saori, someone’s at the door.”
I know someone’s behind that door, but what I don’t know is what would happen after I open it. Since there’s no turning back, I headed towards the door, opened it, and uttered:
“Hey! Glad you could make it. Come in!”, my words didn’t sound convincing at all.
“What’s up? What’s with the sudden invite? Good thing I don’t have any plans today.”
We all stood there parallel to one another, Kazuya, me, and Jin, all three of us. “I wanted to introduce someone to you, that’s all.”, somehow I managed to declare these words despite of the discomfited ambiance surrounding us.
“Well, sit down. Kazuya, this is Jin, I met him when I was buying your gift. We’ve been friends for two weeks now and he’s doing a good job so far!”
“I’ll say! It’s nice to finally meet you Kazuya. You’re Sao-chan’s fiancé right? I’ve heard a lot of great things about you.”
“Is that so? Thank you for keeping up with Saori up to now. I know she can be a burden sometimes. I hope she’s not giving you a hard time.”
“No. Not at all.”
As they chatted some more, I went to the kitchen to prepare our food. I can’t believe it, but things are turning out unexpectedly. It appears to me that they have been good friends for a very long time, considering the fact that they’ve just met minutes ago. The main point of this day was ignored though - me being able to clear my feelings out. So we all enjoyed each other’s company. We talked, ate, and drank until we reached our limits. Alcohol can be a bit tricky sometimes and Jin fell for its trap! I couldn’t let him go home on his own since he’s totally smashed, so I asked Kazuya to escort him.
“I’ll leave him on your hands my dear. Take care, both of you. Good night Kazuya, I’ll dream of you tonight.”
“Sleep tight Saori, I love you.” Then he kissed me good night.
***KAZUYA’S PERSPECTIVE***
It’s been a long day and it’s already 1:00 in the morning. I’m still on the road driving this drunk man home. Why am I actually doing this? I barely know this guy. Why do I always follow Saori’s favors?
…
Oh right! That’s because I love her and I’m willing to do anything just to make her happy. I think it wouldn’t harm me to do one good deed for a guy I just met. He is Saori’s friend after all.

“Jin? We’re here already. Could you please go now? I’m tired as well.”
“Huh? BAKA~ What are you talking about? Oh look! I see stars. Ii ne~”
“What? ARE YOU NUTS? Hey, snap out of it! Okay, let’s go inside.”
If I want to go home soon, I have no choice but to bring this person straight to his bed where I can assure his safety. As I lift Jin on my back, I felt a slight spark, a spark that paralyzed my whole body for a split second. I didn’t understand what just happened so I ignored it and continued carrying him until I’ve reached his couch. His pad is quite simple, perfect for a man like him. A single-sized bed, a small living room, a simple dining area, and an unorganized kitchen like mine - only smaller.
“Okay, I think you’re already settled in, I can go home now.” Right before I turned my back, he held my hand and muttered. “KA-ME! Stay with me for a while, will you?”
What the hell was that? Did he just say “Kame”? Do I really look like a turtle to him? I can’t think of anything else to do but to leave his place as soon as possible, but fate played a trick on me.
He pulled me back and I lost balance. I fell on the ground and he fell right on top of me. “This is quite comfortable Kame.” he said. As much as I don’t want to, my hands were rounding up to hit him big time. Suddenly he said, “Good night Kame, sleep tight!”. Right after that, he was already sleeping like a baby. My heart pumped faster. Is it because of the alcohol’s after-effect or is it because there is a perfect human being sleeping on top of me and I’m stuck here with a splendid view of his pure, exquisite face?
Wait, what am I thinking? This is all wrong! I have to put an end to this, but I couldn’t do anything but stare at him. Swiftly, he moved. He pressed his body more as I feel his weight on me, his head laying right beside mine, our lips just inches apart. I think I’ll let this pass, just tonight. Nothing bad could possibly happen after this. I can’t believe how a single day could make me feel different just like that.
