for all of your general amusement ....heres an example of my mind and/or thoughts when i have to much time on my hands... lol however... i'd love to hear all your views on it, and i didnt include my own conclusions so as not to effect your own... if u choose to "play" lol:
....if its somehow possable to transplant a person's brain frecrencys and such, and thus who they are as an individual, into a robotic/prosetic body (like in many anime and some science fiction).... does the person's soul stay with them... or die with the body (in this case i'm thinking its a person who was in a serious accident and whose body cant be fixed/saved/ or would be in a coma) dispite ones transferance of thoughts, memories, etc.... and then... is ones soul only ones idividuality then.... or not? and if someone did that.. .then... essentiually they could live more or less forever since their body could then be continually fixed, etc.... thus... also... do they still have a soul then? or was it already gone and they are just robots with the mind of an individual that once was? however.... would it make a diffrence if instead of the "digital" copy of their brain... it was their real brain transplanted into the body? after all..... if it was a digital copy alone.... then someone could then potentialy make an exact clone of themselves (thus knowing everything that person does up untill that moment in time) so then would the soul also be transferd to the clone? and if not..... then that person is a "human" robot liveing the rest of its life as that person, though obviosuly with diffrent experiences.... but without .... without the peace of mind of eternity.... unless... a new soul would then be created for that "robot" like idential twins share the same DNA but have diffrent personalities... and well... i'm sure diffrent souls. however.... if in order to make this "clone" perhaps it would destroy the original brain? but even if it didnt... i guess what i really want to know your thoughts on dear friends, is if saveing oneself by transfurring ones personality, and... everything mentally, digitaly into a prosetic body because your real body is about to die/cant be saved.... does your soul still die with the body..... or because u will "wake up" in a new body, still being everything u ever were, are, and want to be.... just with a new body...... do u still have a soul? though as said... u could probably then live forever.... or... is it only still "you" if its the actuall brain? and... how does that differ from the exact copy of it other then being naturaly organic? hmmmm.... i suppose in a way we could also get into what is a soul? and can something ever attain a soul? like Data from the enterprise..... he had a personality, which yes, was originally programed, but through his diffrent experences, etc... got his own personality, and so forth.... did he ever "earn" a soul, or even ever have one? also.... can ones soul be transfored organically in things other then perhaps a brain? for instince, certain horror movies and some sci-fie, etc, have charachtors that are compossed of diffrent parts of diffrent humans.... and then those peoples "souls" are soemhow transferd to the person as well.... or they suddenly know knowlage that that other person had learned in their lifetime... or one of my own "anouther strange messed up juliettey parinoias" of haveing soemone elses eye(s) and then them also seeing everything u can (in the after life?)..... even when haveing sex, etc.....
cough... ahem... so yeah.... anyways........ yes! this was the random thoughts i had and wanted to share with you as well as hear your opinions on, which is why i didnt give u my thoughts/conclusions yet since i didnt want it to alter what u might theorize, etc. lol. theres lots of diffrent side things too involved in this topic as well... but.... i know my mind works in thousands of circles and i didnt want to confuse u all too much....... :0) i tried anyways... lol.
hopefully the sentences are complete enough... i was half paying attention to it while watching the tv and such and didnt bother proofreading... its so much easier to write this "warning" right now then go back and proofread... lol
also.... i learned 2 intresting facts today! both in realtion to animal homosexulity, so dont bother reading if u dont want to hear about gayness....
1: bottlenoise dolphans (at least 2 gay males together) actually proform oral on eachother..... i knew dolphans had sex for pleasure... but i didnt know about the oral... lol
2: that a male gay black swan couple (didnt know there were black swans...) will (one of them.. duh) make a female pregant, then when she lays the eggs chase her away so they can raise the eggs together (yay! 2 daddies) or will even sometimes chase away a hetorsexual couple from their eggs and nest and then raid those eggs as their own. imagine if gay human couples attacked and scared off heterosexual couples from their babeis and rasied them as their own! lol
ohohoh!!!!!! BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!! their're finnialy mapping the neandertal genome! how fanastically amazing is that!!!! it wasn't even too long ago that the homo sapien one was all mapped out.. and well... this is big news! it will greatly open up our understanding of humanity and its evolution in diffrering branches, as well as more info on these noble cousins of ours! (and dont u dare be all ignorently dumb and say stuff like... well... uhh.. they were really stupid and.. doouuhh..... ugly and dumb.... CUZ they had bigger brains then us, made jewerly and art, burried their dead in a loveing many with flowers and possesions, cared for the weak old and wonded, and so forth!). ahem. so yes. only slight problem is a lot of the bones have been "polluted" by other various testings throught the years, etc, so they are useing less biologicaly unique bones to distract dna, some of which arent as prevelent in findings at sites. but yay! what wonderful news for the historical and scientific communities! and... long before i had even gotten this far... Tim would laugh at me and mockingly and loveingly say... "ah yes... theres my little anthroplogist"
:0)
