today was my first day of work. i suppose its considerd part time since i work 1 to 5. i love not haveing to get up early... but... since i really need money.... and i might be only working this month and possably part of next, i sorta wish i could get more hours, or something, to really save as much money as possable. i was thinking of trying to find a weekend job... but after today... i think i need weekends to relax a bit... not to mention clean out my room, etc. anyways.... here's the job. i work at this huuugggeeee building complex for citizens bank in the resurch department... looking up checks and deposit slips on microfilm... printing the ones needed out (which seems easy.. but is actually a huge pain in the ass since each one needs to be measured up diffrently on the page, and to print it, it needs diffrent levels of dark or light each time so when its printed out it actually shows up... meaning lots of paper is wasted by everybody.... poor trees... at least we recycle.... i think), and then listing how many checks or deposit slips there were, and how many outsources there were.... (i think its outsources? its called soemthing like that i tihnk...) which is really just a signed check..... and then clipping it all together... and thats bassicaly it... soo... rather easy, extremly boreing, and very hard on the eyes because its staring into this huge old computer-like screen all day. its like i can feel the radiation burning my reitnas lol. we have this large box thing full of films we need to use along with the assingment paper to know the 8-diget refrence number on the microfilm to find the thingy needed. luckily we can bring cd players so that might help pass the time. there's also a huge caffateria with lots of diffrent sections for diffrent foods... like a school caffateria times 2. everyone wears dressy buissness clothes though.... i was hopeing i could dress more casual after today... but seems painfull shoes are a must. lol soo.. yeah.... blah blah blah
