So... I've been churning out Mnemosyne flashcards like it's nobody's business. Of course, I'd like to share them with my friends. The tricky part has been including images, but I thought I'd solved that by saving the images directly under the .mnemosyne directory. Turns out I was partially correct...
As it turns out, when I was saving the images and loading the cards on my PC, it would name the file location using a backslash (e.g. Users \ Kevin Howard \ .mnemosyne \ blah blah blah). But when I sent it to my girlfriend's Mac, the images were saved using a forward slash (e.g. Users / Kevin Howard / .mnemosyne / blah blah blah).
So, basically, anyone Mac user I want to share these with has to spend a couple hours changing the freaking slashes in the file name before they can use them. Which, you know, is totally the best use of a medical student's time.
Congratulations, Steve Jobs, you succeeded in being 'different'.
In other news, excited for Colorado next week. Other other news, Pokemon Black. I'm on the fourth gym at the moment. Okee the Otter Oshawott Dewott is headlining my team, which also includes a Zorua and a Victini. Playing through a totally new game where I don't know any of the Pokemon involved at all? Good stuff.
