OK, so last year at DragonCon I lusted after the steampunk stuff and told myself I'd get something together for this year's con.

Then I forgot.

Seven weeks before the con, I've remembered.

What I was aiming for is something that's kinda Amelia Earhart meets Jules Verne or HG Wells. Any ideas about how to go about that? I found the Ladies'

Well I get home on the 5th, but then I go to the Michigan UP the week of the 8th. But I don't go back to Frankfurt until the 20th. So what dates in there would work for you? Any of them? I don't have to be in Michigan for the whole week.

I have a brown tweed jacket that would be PERFECT if altered to fit you. And my dad may have some very old (read: wire framed) safety glasses that would be awesome perched atop your head. See icon. ;)

In general, a trip to the hardware store can turn up some interesting things for goggles or jewelry that would look sweet with a bit of paint work.
