The more time goes on, the more I wanna get a cat. Conveniently, I just started allergy shots today. It's really annoying that it's a five year total course, but apparently next spring my symptoms should be much better. I'm getting two shots to cover all of my allergies (so yay, I may be able to do fruit someday). For the first bit it's once a week, and then getting progressively more spaced out, with the last few years getting just the occasional booster. I understand the theory behind why it's not done, but I really wish I could just give the shots to myself.
