So I yoinked this quiz from thecityofdis. Personally, I wasn't very impressed with it. Quite a few of the questions were ripped directly from The Political Compass, while others are different from the questions on the Political Compass by only one or two words. A few other questions weren't spelled correctly, which I hypothesize demonstrates a basic lack of familiarity with the topic at hand*. To further call into question the legitimacy of this quiz, the possible responses were very limited (there were only two choices to pick from), and were too specific (in that the choices excluded many legitimate opinions from various areas of the political spectrum). Lastly, I detected a slight conservative bias in the quiz.
Let's not even discuss all of the issues that the quiz left out and the fact that it was too short to even possibly give any meaningful political classification.
*I'm not saying that if someone misspells something then they don't know what they're talking about. I do mean, however, that if you say "[the rich] can afforded [higher taxes" then...well...maybe you finish high school. Maybe I'm just harsh, but that's my take.
