So for Halloween (ie Samhain) Sonja was with us for the whole day, dressed up in the pixie/tinkerbell costume that her Gam-me (my mom) made for her. Pretty much was the belle of the ball wherever we were.
After the two doctor visits for Jenni, we went home and my girls laid down for naps while I ran to the store to get prescriptions filled and pick up a few times for the Trick-or-Treaters. Originally I thought we'd be at the in-laws so I hadn't made plans.
After some box digging I found my moebius cloak (along with a few other goodies) while answering the door to give out some candy to a ninja, Superman, black-suit Spider-man, an older Tinkerbell, Optimus Prime, a cute lil witch and so on.
Got Sonja re-dressed with a coat to keep her warm and we headed out on our first tricker-treating expedition. We didn't go far, just keeping within our cul-de-sac, but she did pretty good. By the fourth stop, she'd figured out the knocking on the door part.By the fifth stop she was holding out her pumpkin for the person o put candy in it. very cute.
*grins*
When we reach our trio of buildings, several homes had set-up on the landing and was handing out candy. Most of them have seen Sonja when traveling between our door and the car. Some were impressed with her costume and others that she was walking.
not too exciting but that was the extent of the evening for us. Here are the pics we took that evening.
