Saw The Phantom Menace in 3-D

I relived my first entry into fandom today. Course the first time around i had no idea what to expect and cell phones were so dame prevalent. Seriously! You're going to see star wars. Don't spend the entire movie playing games on your cell phone and not even bother turning off the sound. Thus annoying every person sitting around you. And the rest of the people; is the need to check your facebook account so important that you had to check it multiple times in the movie? Did no-one read the two minute sign on the screen to turn off your cell phone OR where you too busy checking it during it.

Ok, that's out of the way. I have to say seeing the moving on the big screen made me appreciate the series all over again. You almost need a boast like this in a fandom to get the blood pumping again. It makes me wish Amazon was faster getting the new Darth Sideous book to me that i order monday. I still disliked the podrace scene so i choose that moment to run to the bathroom. lol Probably didn't need to know that. I did LOVE the edition of the digital Yoda. His facial expressions were much more amusing. Plus being able to see it in big screen again made me appreciate all the little details again. Things i've forgotten about or didn't notice before. Like how they gave Qui-Gon gray in his hair or how Obi-Wan looks like he has a afro sometimes. George did an amazing job of making the movie 3D. One of the best ones i've seen in a long time. This makes me really excited to see the rest of the movies in 3D. ^^

I will say seeing the movie again made me crave me Qui-Gon literature. There is such a little amount. Most of the stuff out there is with Luke and Co. Though the new comics series about the first Jedi and Sith looks highly promising. The $3.50 preview i got today from the comic store showed it. (Thought it was the first issue. Didn't realize it wasn't till i was in the theater looking through my pile of comics that it wasn't. {I got a whole bunch of DC/SW comics from the comic store and the owner saves them for me. So i usually end of just paying for the pile and looking later}).

Anyways, glad i made the decision to go see the movie. ^^
