OMG AN UPDATE!! It's been a while, I know. But it has been a very busy week of hunting down teachers and advisors and scheduling for classes and blah. Would you like to see my LAST SEMESTER SCHEDULE AT NEW PALTZ EVER?? That's right, I'm OFFICIALLY going to be graduating in MAY. *diez from teh pressure*
Craft of Dramatic Writing: The craft classes are the next step in creative writing, and Craft of Poetry wouldn't fit in my schedule, so I'll be writing plays and stageplays and other fun stuff instead. It's funny, because the only "script" I've ever written is a parody of The Phantom Menace, ROFL! Think I can hand it in for credit? XD
Literary Criticism: The last thing I need for my major, and with a teacher I've never had before that I hear is great. Cool.
Storytelling and Culture: A communications class that I hear is fun and an easy "A." Sounds pretty sweet.
The Bible as Literature: Um...it's a 400-level English class that fit into my schedule. Yeah, we'll see how this goes. XD
Young Adult Literature: I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET INTO THIS CLASS FOR YEARS!! I'LL BE WRITING PAPERS ON HARRY POTTER AND NARNIA!! SCORE!!
College Symphonic Orchestra: I haven't taken this since my sophomore year, and I hated the conductor, but I needed the one last credit and I'd rather go to rehearsals once a week than add another class with papers. I really need to brush up on my violin this winter break, because I am SO RUSTY. XD
And there ya go, a 16-credit-semester-of-not-so-much-doom. THIS semester is the 16-credit-semester-of-doom. I'm actually really looking forward to all of those classes, it's gonna be sweet. OMG I AM GRADUATING SOON. I'M ALMOST A REAL ADULT. AHHHH!!!
Anywho, not much going on this weekend. I had to work last night from midnight to 4:45 am, and no one else could cover for this girl who couldn't work tonight last minute, so I get to work midnight to 4:45 am for two nights in a row. I plan on sleeping all of Sunday. XD
Yesterday was fun, I hung out with the girls for most of it, watching trashy tv like America's Next Top Model reruns and A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. And then we found the last half of Titanic on tv and dropped any possible plans to watch that instead, lol. Oh Leo, the power you hold over girls in their 20's is astounding. Today was pretty fun, too, I played croquet with the guys (the only other girl there was there with her new boyfriend), and it pretty much resulted in the guys ganging up on me and picking me up and throwing me back and forth and pretending to rape me. Good times. XD It was actually very fun, considering there's been a lot of weird drama going on about croquet (don't ask, the guys are weird), and it hasn't been as much fun lately because of people throwing hissy-fits and storming off in the middle of games. This game actually got completed drama-free, and it was very fun, but I was so cold that I couldn't really feel any of my limbs. :P
Well anyway, enough of my rambling. I'm off to kill an hour before the last new episode of Heroes gets replayed on G4 (yes, I've been watching all the new episodes twice in a week, because I'm obsessed...and this last one had a lot of Peter/Adam slashy goodness, so it's worth rewatching solely for that reason, hee. I get all giddy when I hear Adam say in his delicious accent, "'Ello, Petah, moi name is Ah-dam." *swoon*). Ahem. But first, a photo-meme.
