I had a very enjoyable, if a bit short, weekend at home. I ate lots of yummy, real food, slept in, saw Across the Universe again, hung out with my sister, and spent some very nice quality time with the boy. I missed so many of the little things while we were "on a break" (insert Friends reference here), like just laying around on the couch watching tv, and talking about movies, walking around the mall, and especially the cuddling. I'm such a lovebug, I'm quite content to sit around and cuddle in front of the tv all night. :D So we talked about a lot of relationship stuff, and now things are fantastic and we're both so happy. So yay for that.
In other news, I worked until 5 am last night (er, this morning), and I've been tired all day today. I also feel like complete crap today, so I haven't done any work at all. Well, because of midterms last week I didn't have too much to do this weekend anyway. I watched Hot Fuzz with the girls (some of them hadn't seen it!), and we plan on watching some of season one of Heroes, because my friend Kristen has been watching season 2 with us, but never saw season 1 and is a bit lost. So, we'll be watching both seasons at the same time, and it'll be funny.
And to make myself feel like I accomplished something today, Bekki and I did a massive cleaning of the bathroom and common room. I had kind of been hoping that certain people would clean up after themselves, but it got to the point where the bathroom was disgusting, and the common room was so dirty that I didn't want to bring any friends over. So, like with the garbage fiasco, it comes down to me doing it or it not getting cleaned at all. The bathroom is now spotless, and hopefully it'll stay that way. I seriously hate living with girls, because I can't stand a dirty bathroom. It just bothers me that the mess is never mine, and I always clean it up because apparently I'm the only one disgusted by it. I shall keel you next time, suitemates. Oh yes.
Anyway, I'm off to make some hot cocoa and read for a bit before Kristen comes over for Heroes. I borrowed this really cute romance book from my Grandma, and I'm only a chapter in, but I really love it. Sometimes you just need a little more romance and fluff in your life. :P
Also, in case you've been living under a rock and haven't heard the latest HP news, check out this
interview with JKR. I won't say anything about it, because this is about as close as we'll get for spoilers anymore, lol. I'll just say that it says some very interesting things about Dumbledore and Neville. I seriously love the HP fandom, news travels so quickly through it. XD
So long. Memes and other fun stuff to come when I feel less crappy.
