Today there was an open session for us seniors where we could go and make sure we had all of our requirements to graduate in spring. So I went. Now, Emory has an online degree audit thing, where it tells you what requirements you've filled, etc. Only thing is, it doesn't take into account classes taken while at Oxford.
Can you see where this is going?
Person at session was looking at my audit and told me there was no way I'd be able to graduate; I was missing too many requirements. I mention that I went to Oxford, and he says "right, the requirements are different for you." I wait. That was it. He didn't know anything about which classes from Oxford counted for what or what the actual requirements were. He asked three other people, and no one knew anything other than Oxford was different.
What the hell? Oxford is a PART of Emory; it's not some foreign entity. It's bad enough I was stuck there for 2 years; now I must be continuously punished for it. And I think I've covered everything so I can get out, but it'd be nice to have someone else tell me that. Why doesn't anyone here know anything? And, of course, I threw away/burned most my Oxford stuff after sophomore year. Hopefully I still have something at home with a list of graduation requirements. *sobs* I just want to get out of here!
