Click to viewMy bro came down from Canada for a semi-impromptu visit because he got 4 tickets to the Justin Timberlake concert tonight. He and his gf are staying for a week and it's good to see my family when I do since I haven't seen them much lately.
Can't forget to buy ear plugs. A stadium full of screaming females is not easy on the ears.
I'm looking forward to the concert since it's the first "pop" concert I've been to since ColorMeBad and Paula Abdul in the early 90s. I wasn't a big fan of Justin's when his first album came out but I have to give him props now. His sound has refined and I have to admit I enjoy it. Probably helps that Timberland produced most of the album and I really like the Maestro's work.
My co-worker went to see the concert on Sunday and Timberland showed up and did an awesome encore performance and Kanye West even popped by for a cameo performance. Hopefully tonight's show will have big surprises too. Only in a city like LA do you get a big name performer cameo out of the blue.
