Oh, trust me, I've noticed. Been trying to figure out wording that does it as well as this, and, um, yeah- not coming up with anything decent, Aside from CAPITALISM: UR DOIN' IT WRONG.
And LOLcatting the Big Three, while hilarious, just doesn't quite get the right message across.
Aw come on, man. Surely something involving zombies... and cars... living dead car companies... there's gotta be something there. Or vampires! Yeah, they're hot right now. Vampire car companies... with lasers. And wizards. Ninja wizards!
1) this is brilliant, and at least half of me agrees.
2) it should be noted that today's "bailout" in Detroit is actually a loan with some pretty strict conditions. unlike the 30-times-larger outright-bailout for the financial industries, detroit's got to pay this back.
i wish we could bail out the workers without bailing out the companies...
True. Well, if I had any faith that the Big 3 will ever be able to pay off these loans, I wouldn't be so annoyed. But I'd say they've got somewhere between jack and shit for chances. They'll come back for more (they've already said as much), and we'll keep shoveling it in, until finally they'll go belly-up (which they should've already done years ago), and they'll default on that debt.
Oh yeah, when they finally kick it, it'll go on Obama's tab, too. Nice touch, that.
